The projects range from state-of-the-art research studies to sleepiness questionnaires incorporated into the pilot workload. Sleep Behavior Fleet Air Arm (Navy) Shift Workers

This presentation focuses on how the Royal Australian Navy used IBR's SleepTank app and the Fitbit Versa 2 wearable to help workers manage their own sleep schedules in a way that reduces fatigue risk during rotational shift work. Fatigue risk was assessed using SAFTE-FAST to evaluate instances during work and commute times when cognitive impairment was comparable to that of alcohol consumption.
